CHP GIGA in 安idnik
exists since 1950. At the beginning, the plant was part of WSK in 安idnik (aircraft factory). In 1999, the plant was privatized and in 2001 became part of Praterm Group. The CHP is the only producer of heat and electricity in 安idnik. The heat is sold to the municipal grid and WSK, the electricity is sold to WSK. CHP’s installed capacity is 146MW of thermal energy and 6 MW of electric energy. The plant consist of two steam coal boilers OR-32, two coal boilers WR-25, one coal boiler WRP-46 and a 6MW turbine.

After the privatization, it was possible to complete general automation and modernization of the plant. Efficiency was increased significantly mainly through decrease in coal consumption.
The plant is managed by Mr. Roman W鎩cik and employs 57 people.
